Police Approve Otzma Le'Yisrael March in Musmus

Police Approve Otzma Leyisrael March in Musmus

The Hof (Coastal) District police approved, Sunday, a march scheduled for Tuesday by Member of Knesset Michael Ben-Ari, aides Itamar Ben-Givr and Baruch Marzel, and activist Aryeh King into the Nachal Eeron (Wadi Ara) Arab village of Musmus to promote the Knesset campaign of the Otzma Leyisrael party and its campaign slogan "If there are no obligations, there are no rights." As was the case in a march by Doctor Ben-Ari into the Israeli Arab city of Umm Al-Fahm, his party won't be allowed to march to the center of the village and the march will be limited to 55 people.

The premise of the campaign is that Arabs, who are not required to do military service, should do some kind of national volunteer service. They should also observe construction laws. Ben-Ari said, "It's unthinkable that there are whole cities and villages, especially in the Negev and the Galilee, that are being run as if it was a different country." He also said, "Whoever wants rights must pay municipal taxes, must observe construction laws, and must be loyal to the state of Israel." Referring to a report on unauthorized Jewish construction in Judea and Samaria (Shomron), he added, "Just as there is the Talia Sasson Report on outposts in Yesha, there should be a report on illegal construction in the Negev and the Galilee."
